If anyone is close to Lincoln ILL there is a female yorkie listed in the petfinder classifieds for $200. She is 3 years old and ad states she is kept outside. I sure hope that someone on here is able to get her.

I am not for sure how far this is from me, but I am willing to help with transport or even short term fostering until someone can make arrangements to come get her. I am going to mapquest now to see how far away this is.

Lincoln Ill is about 3 hours from me. They also have a s**tzu/maltese listed and a great dane listed. Ads state that they are downsizing their farm dogs. I am going to email them and try to get more information. The yorkie is 300 the maltese/s**tzu is 100 and I think the great dane is 100. I will let everyone know if I hear back from them. If someone one here is interested please let me know if I can help. Hopefully someone is interested in the other ones too, it sounds like they all need better homes.

Well guys I just sent them an email requesting information on the yorkie and the maltese/s**tzu. I also said that if they had pictures that would be great. I said that I might possibly be interested in both of them (which there is no way in heck hubby would let me) but was afraid that they would not answer me back. I did tell them where I am located and that they are about 3 hours from me. I am hoping that someone on here is close enough to go get these babies and give them the life that they deserve. While I am looking at my two sprawled out with their feet up in the air sound asleep I keep thinking of those two poor little ones out in this heat. It makes me want to cry.

Guys she emailed me back, someone is coming from wisconsin to look at the female yorkie. She has a male yorkie 13 weeks and the maltese/s**tzu. I do have pics of both if someone will email me I can email their pictures to be posted here. I just don't know how. The 13 week old yorkie is also an outside dog. I think they said they want 450 for him. They actually belong to this persons Mom.

Uck, it just sounds like they're horrible backyard breeders. Who keeps a yorkie outside? And esspecially in the heat? I wonder how they survive the winters?

email me the pics at pattibackman@aol.com and I will resize (thanks Villette) and post them under this thread. I live in Northern, Il and I have never heard of Lincoln so I 'm not sure how far it is from me.

Thanks Patti, I have sent you the two pictures that they sent me. When I mapquested Lincoln Ill, it is somewhere close to Springfield as it talks about the springfield exit. It is just over 3 hours from me. She never emailed me back about the little female so the people must have took her.

Keep us informed. I just sold a Maltese to a couple in Lincoln. They said it took them 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to my house. Not that I need to get anymore dogs. I am still trying to sell three puppies. I will spread the word.

I sent the pictures to Patti, but evidently it is in a zip file, that is the way they were sent to me. Does anyone know how we can get them on here. I will gladly send them to anyone who can help.

I know yesterday when I was sweating my tooty off working I kept thinking about those two tied outside in this heat. Heck Graff didnt even want to go out to potty till the sun went down. Isn't there someone on here that can go get them.
