| Desperately Seeking Yorkie to LOVE I have always, always, always wanted a Yorkie. However, obtaining one has been another story. My husband would NEVER let me pay $400 or more for a dog. He's not really into breeds. I see them online up for adoption in different states, but most of the time, the person still wants a considerable amount of money for the cutie and then I still have to arrange shipment or pick up! And I would rather not ship! SO I am looking for a Yorkie in the El Paso, Texas area; under a year old; for free or no more than $100. IF ANYBODY knows where or how I can get one that someone elsde can no longer take care of, PLEASE let me know. I thought that I found one last night, a 6 mo male at a local animal shelter. When I called about him this morning, they informed me that he was adopted yesterday!!! So NOW I am REALLY heartbroken. I cried on the phone when she told me. She must have thought that I was nuts! PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY YORKIE!!! Thanks, Teresa phone # (915)626-5225 Email: BabyGirl_37042@yahoo.com |

| Keep checking shelters and online ads, it is possible, not often but it can happen, a shelter is probably your best bet, why don't you place an ad. ya never know who might see it. Good luck.. I could not afford the amount most people wanted.. I looked for almost 2 years... finally found my boy.

| Awe... congratulations! I continually search the pounds and shelters. I thought for sure that I found my little guy last night. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep! Oh well, back to the search. Just thought that I would try this avenue also! |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Is there any way to put your name on a list at your ASPCA or pound? A friend did that here and adopted an AKC yorkie from the ASPCA. Even if they don't have a list...I'd go so frequently everyone that worked there would know me, what I was looking for, and hope they'd call if one came in. Good luck.

| I have the same problem, I just moved so i cant afford $1200 for a pup. I've been looking for months. What i've been doing is searcing every newspaper around my area almost daily (online). I actually found someone on www.craigslist.org that said they have a small yorkie at a shelter in California, so I called yesterday and they said the pup will be available to adopt on Fri. So i'm going!!! Wish me luck tho becuase they said usually with little dogs like that there are a ton of people who show up and they have to do a raffle. I really hope I can finally get my Yorkie. Good luck to you too!! |

| I feel your pain. I have been looking for about six months now! I re-called the shelters in the area a few minutes ago and one lady said that they might be getting one in on Saturday. So keep your fingers crossed for me too and I will do the same. Best of luck in your search! |

| I know you have your heart set on a furbaby, but, have you considered the exspense of this breed? Just asking ya, because I sure didnt, and he has really just about broke my budget. I love the little fart , dont get me wrong. But, I had no clue about the breed till after I did the deed. I would never give him up , ever, but, if someone would of warned me or informed me, I think I would of reconsidered . I had a sheltie for 15yrs, in all her life I never spent this much money on her. God love her. Not to mention the new googles I just got for MY furbaby last week, and the special Innova dog food I just ordered. and ect....... Just a thought, good luck to ya |
