| In DFW - need to rehome my yorkie I won't go into detail about my sob story, but basically I've lost my home and have had to move to a new location, and I also now live alone where I used to live with 3 others. I also work a full time job. He has been my constant companion and it breaks my heart more than I can say to have to do this, but I simply cannot give him the attention he needs anymore, and I have to do what's best for him. Miles is 3 years old. He is very shy and timid at first, but once he warms up he is very sweet and loving. He's a lap dog at heart and wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and lick your face day after day. He is afraid of big dogs but cats and small dogs are ok. He would do best in a home where someone is home all day to care for him - he needs constant attention. He is housebroken, but he has to go outside often - at least every 4 hours during the day, and no more than 8 hours during the night. I've not been able to get him to tell me when he needs to go potty - maybe someone better at training can do it. Miles is also neutered. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me. I also have several other pictures but most of them were too big |

| If you can't find a home for him Operation Kindness in Carrollton is a no-kill shelter that has a few yorkie experts. Good luck

| Thanks everyone. Miles has found a new home. They already have two Yorkies and they've been wanting a third one for years. They are both retired, so they have nothing but time to take care of their dogs, which is EXACTLY what he needs! He gets along great with their other dogs, and he jumped in the husbands lap and cuddled with him almost instantly. I miss him and I'm still sad he had to go, but I feel much better about it knowing he went to such a great place |
