| It is best to re home Peyton , I was the person who took Peyton in last August. I feel it would be best to re home Peyton as an only dog in a less stress household. She worships people , loves to be petted and shows her appreciation . She loves to be bathed , brushed , nail trimmed and generally being fussed over etc. However she has been newly diagnosed with a cataract and other eye is short sighted so her vision is very poor. There for she is nervous and startled easily . I feel a new home would give her the best chance for a full and happy life . The sooner ,the better to reduce the chance of changing her excellent temperament with people. She is healthy otherwise ,up to date vetted including dental ( she still has about 30 teeth). She really has no interest in other dogs but would happily go from person to person to be petted. |

| Both Elaine and I ,both agreed that it would be PeYton best interest to be an only dog ,( we have multiples) so that she is less stressed because of her poor eyesight. I can and will keep her and Elaine visits each week but we know there is a better place if someone wants a great cuddler. |

| Do this pup a favor please and contact Yorkies, Inc and let them find a home for her. They are very thorough and will find a permanent home for her. I would offer to take her in with YHR but we don't have anyone in your state.

| Yorkies Inc. I sent an original picture by email and got a general reply from cece at yorkie. Inc.right away that she didnt get other descpition email . But when i sent a follow up reply with description , I didnt get any follow up from her. I then sent another email with picture and description but have not gotten any reply. From what i can see is that i will not get any help from Yorkie Inc. In New England. I also sent a request to a national yorkie rescue and didn't hear anything from them but decided not to do a follow-up with that organization because I will not ship Peyton.I would not add that stress to her on top of her other stresses |

| Yorkies Inc follow up Hi, Are you willing to fully surrender her over to Yorkies Inc? We did write back to clarify exactly what you wanted to do, as your email sounded like you wanted Cathie to adopt her as you mentioned doing a home visit yourself at Cathie's house and would give her to Cathie if it was the right home etc. Once a dog has been surrendered, Yorkies Inc will be doing the home visit and finding the dog their perfect home. If you want you can write to me at krk1107@aol.com Please let me know your thoughts and if you want to surrender her to Yorkies Inc. Thank you, Kerri Yorkies Inc. Placement Service

| Special Needs Yorkie Sorry , I couldn't find your reply email and i have been ckecking my spam folder regularly.I did send my tel. number for any questions even th I'm reluctant to just put it out in general. Anyway , I feel like ive been Peyton 's foster and already know her history and just looking for a more suitable home for her natural life. I do not see how transferring her to another foster home benefits her and she is a loving type of dog now and would not want to stress her needlessly. I reached out to breed specific rescues because I can understand a lot of people love dogs in general but really have a place in their hearts for certain types of dogs. I can understand rescues can't help all dogs but I do not feel surrendering Peyton to another foster home would be in her best interest , at this time. |

I mean no disrespect....I do believe you care about her as does Elaine....but obviously she has not yet been placed in the right home for her. I again strongly encourage you to place her with Yorkies, Inc so that she ends up with a PERMANENT home for the rest of her life....one that meets her needs. It isn't fair to let her keep going from pillar to post. Again, no disrespect, but if you really knew how to place yorkies, you would not be here on YT looking for a home! You simply don't have the network or the placement knowledge that a reputable rescue does. Until I got involved in rescue, I didn't understand either....but there is so much to adoption.

| How old is Peyton? Perhaps she might benefit from surgery for the cataract? We do that for every foster we get who will benefit from it...prior to adoption. Many do well...I would certainly recommend a consult with an ophthalmologist if that hasn't been done yet.
