| Looking to adopt older yorkie in Indiana or surrounding area. I lost my 14 yo yorkie to a medical condition last month and am looking to adopt another fur baby. I am retired and able to provide the time and resources to take care of a new fur baby. Would prefer around 5 years or older and 6 lbs or less. Thank you. |

| Good for you for wanting another! It took me 15 years to conquer my fear of another heartbreak to losing a beloved pet. Sword I never would but I am retired too and miss the love and nurturing I can provide and receive so here I am starting all over. Zoey is now 5 months old and an absolute joy! I didn't have much luck in indana cause nobody advertises . It's all word of mouth. Ask your vet is all i can say , the Internet is too risky. Good luck to you. |

| I am sorry for your loss. I suggest you search on Petfinder.com All of the rescues advertise on there and you can find an adult yorkie that has been fully vetted and evaluated if you deal with a reputable rescue. Good luck in finding a new companion!

| There's someone in PA looking to rehome some of her yorkies - not sure if you could arrange to meet half-way to pick one up, if you and she thought it might work? Look at the threads here to find her. |
