| Wanting to adopt an older Yorkie Hi everyone I am the proud owner of my 5 month old pup Titus. My DH and I want to expand our family but we decided we wanted to adopt an older Yorkie between the ages of 1-5 yrs old and either gender is fine with us. I did private message a few people on this forum but I'm not sure if they already re-homed their pups. Just wanted to let people who need their pups re-homed that I'm a very interested Yorkie parent! lol Thank you |

| Have you contacted any local rescues? Or check with your local humane society. Sometimes our humane society will get a yorkie.

| I tried looking within our area but most SPCA/humane society have larger dogs and very few small dogs. I have yet to see a Yorkie. Thank you for the advice tho |

| Well just keep looking. . I found my Mikki for sale at a gas station just as I had given up hope of finding another one. I got her for $50 and she was meant to be with us. So don't give up! Your pup is out there!

| Wrong coast. Right now we have 3 4-5 year old females for adoption. and will have a 2 year old ready in a few weeks when his broken leg is healed. Keep looking at the rescue groups. We have a mainly small dogs in our rescue but usually have yorkies. I'm sure there's a similar rescue if you look. |

| I got Carson as an adult also. I don't need another Yorkie right now, but I am on a good Yorkie breeder's list for an adult or a puppy.
