| 2 special needs yorkies in OC CA need new home THIS IS NOT MY DOG!!!! FOUND THIS ON ORANGE COUNTY, CA CRAIGSLIST I have two purebred yorkies (sisters) that need to be rehomed. They are both 5.5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, parasite free, microchipped, on heartworm/parasite/flea/tick prevention. They are well socialized with people and are very friendly. They are not "yappy" dogs by any means. They love cats. They are about 95% housebroken to puppy pads. They will have an accident if you don't allow them access to a puppy pad, or if you don't give them a fresh one. Sister #1: She is 4 pounds, a very small and adorable little girl. She is timid and sweet and loves to curl up in your lap at all times. She is the mellow one out of the two. She needs to be treated with care for several reasons. 1) She has a sensitive back due to an incident a few years ago where she was accidentally stepped on by a large dog. She just shouldn't be allowed to jump a lot and is sometimes painful if she goes on a long walk. 2) She is prone to pancreatitis, so she needs to be fed a Rx diet (without treats of any kind). 3) The vet believes that she may have a condition known as maldigestion where she does not properly digest her food. To remedy this, she needs to get special medicine with her food at each feeding (I will go over detailed instructions with her new owner). 4) She has a collapsing trachea, but this only causes her issues when she gets really excited and happy and she has the "reverse sneeze." 5) She cannot be anesthetized because the last time she had her teeth cleaned (about 9 months ago) she almost died during the procedure. So, she needs her teeth brushed on a regular basis. Sister #2: She is 5 pounds, slightly bigger than her sister in size. She is the comedian of the two. She is always looking for something fun to do, or some way to get your to smile. She is sensitive to your emotions, though, and loves to be held, especially when you are sad. She gives kisses when you ask for them. She is in general a cute girl. She loves men and women, but does not particularly love children. She has never been "mean" to a child, but I think the potential is there. She can be a good watch dog and will let you know when someone is outside. She quiets down as soon as you tell her to though. She just had her teeth cleaned and I had many of them pulled to prevent her from having to be anesthetized again (they were getting their teeth cleaned every six months). Like her sister, she has a collapsing trachea. They can never be allowed to go outside without supervision. I will not adopt them out to a home with small children or large dogs for their safety. They must be adopted together as they have never been apart. I will be very picky about who they are adopted to, to ensure their safety, but please do not hesitate to ask any questions that have not already been addressed here. Please do not email me with "how much are they?" as I assure you, the adoption fee is very reasonable. If you see this post, they are still available. They will come with their bed, crate, food, meds, bowls, etc. I will require an adoption application, home visit, adoption fee, and contract. I want to stay in contact with whoever adopts them because they are very special to me. The other dog in the last picture was a previous foster who has already found his forever home. it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests http://images.craigslist.org/3m53p83...11d5de104b.jpghttp://images.craigslist.org/3ka3o43...15cd4315b5.jpghttp://images.craigslist.org/3n13pd3...3cfc6c1873.jpg PostingID: 2264329860 |
