Yorkie Needs Help I received an email from the animal rescue I help with. It was forwarded to me from my friend, and my friend was asked "Do you think your friend the Yorkie lady can help this guy." LOL. I'm the Yorkie Lady now. They are looking for a Yorkie rescue that can take him. I would take him but have my hands full right now with Mia. They say he is about seven weeks old, but the pictures to me look like about 12 weeks old. They believe he has Cerebelar Hypoplasia, but otherwise is healthy, eats well and plays well. He has tremors, and they are worse when he's excited. I did a google search on this condition and they say he can live a long healthy life and usually will compensate for the disability. The best way to describe it is like a spazy puppy would be when they are learning new things. I contacted a rescue but have not heard back yet. Is there any rescues in NJ that would be able to take him? Please, contact me. Thanks Elaine

No. I tried Rescue Me (Jen Quigly) They are in PA but also foster I think out of Whiting, NJ. I really wish I could take this little guy. He is adorable and they said very healthy, he just has this handicap. I just can't do it with Mia. She's still sick and also needs a bilateral hernia operation. I just have my hands full right now. I'm online now searching around. Some further away rescues have fosters in NJ. I'm going to try and post the picture of this little guy. E.

This is a picture of the little guy. They say he is around 7 weeks but I think he looks more to be around 12 weeks from the picture. E.

I help out with Burlington County Animal Alliance and also with another rescue my friend Eileen works with, Atlantic County Canines. I do their home visits when it's in my area. This little guy is coming from somewhere down south and will be transported to NJ. Jen Quigly from Rescue Me is going to take him. I just heard back from them last night.

Thank You. Just wanted to let everyone know that Rescue Me (Jen Quigly) is going to take this little guy. He's going to be transported from some where down south. If I had known when I posted he was in another state I would have sought someone in that state. I was just the middleman contacted by a friend who asked if I could take the little guy and help him. Anyway, he'll be in NJ early next week and Jen will bring him into her rescue. I'm glad he has a place. I felt so bad that I couldn't take him even temporarily, but I just have my hands full with Mia and she can't afford (God Forbid he has even a cold) to catch it. She is struggling so much with her health still. Thanks again for all the replies. Elaine
