| Yesterday we forund an owner for one Shleter Dog But as I was playing Santa, the neighbor of a couple going thru a divorce brought in the nicest little 1 year old female Golden Retriever. Just said they could not agree who would get custody of the dog, so they are giving her away. Sad really. The local Shelter that I help out here had 10-15 volunteers at the Petsmart I was playing Santa at. We were on each side of the store. One side was Santa Steve and his 3 helps taking pictures, I also had a few youngsters at the door letting people know we were taking pictures, and on the other side was a table with Volunteers showing several Shelter dogs. I keel it was the Coon Heeler that was adopted out. A dog from Austrailia that is part Dingo...a real little herder. HOHOHO |

| Steve, I love the picture. How nice of you to help out the local shelter. It is truly sad about the golden retriever being surrendered. I do pray they find a good home for her.

| The Retriever is at home of one of the licensed Foster Family's and I am sure she will be living with a good family real soon. She is really a sweet little lady, 1 year old, around 60 pounds, happy. She needs some training as far as jumping up, etc, but no problem as she is attentive and seems real smart. We had a Golden for 14 years once, a terrific dog. As far as the Heeler, yes Blue Heeler, and I was not on the bottle! http://www.greenpupshelter.org/Adult..._adoption.html I just never heard or saw the breed, but she is a nice little dog. |

They are wonderful dogs, we have 2. Our female tends to be a little flighty when it comes to being around the cattle or horses, but the male is purely focused all the time. She is beautiful, I hope she finds her home soon. | |
