| Need immediate help with blind yorkie My local humane society just received a 12 y/o blind yorkie. His owner dropped him off to be pts because he's blind. They told me he is not neutered, but in good health and 5-6 lbs. That's really all I know about him. They have agreed to hold him for awhile since me and others are working to find him a home. Any help with a yorkie rescue would be really appreciated. We've got to help this baby.

| What horrible person drops a 12 year old dog at a kill shelter because he's gone blind? That's just part of aging. Dogs adjust very well to losing their sight in familiar surroundings. The poor guy must be terrified now. I pray someone can get him out of there. |

| I'm so glad the dog has a new home. I don't know how anybody can give up a 12 year old dog just because he's blind. I hope for the little guys sake he lives a wonderful life from now on. If I lived closeer I would have taken him in for sure. |
