| Looking to getting into fostering or adopting a YT in need of a good home Hello Everyone, I do apologize if this is in the wrong area of the forum. Currently I have been looking to adopt a YT for a little while now. Whom do I need to contact about fostering a YT here in Louisiana? Thank you. Any advice is helpful since I am still very new here. Just looking to help out fellow Yorkie lovers. <3 |

| Fostering and adopting are two different things. Either way, you will need to complete an application for any yorkie rescue that you choose to adopt from or foster for. I suggest you look on Petfinder if you are looking to adopt. You can put your zip code in and find the yorkies in need of homes in your area! Good luck and welcome to YT.

| Your local Humane Society should also have copies of PetPages. It's a free "yellowpage directory" and local rescue groups usually have their info in there. As ladyjane posted there is a difference between adopting and fostering. Good luck in your search and Welcome to YT
