Senior Yorkie Talker | Little Tiny in West Virginia I saw a posting for this senior little girl in West Virginia on petfinder. She looks so sad. I don't know how people can be so cruel. The posting said it was witnessed she was thrown over the porch and not allowed inside again. A neighbor brought her in, took her to the vet and then asked the shelter to find her a home. If no one locally comes forward, I am going to pick her up. It is a 5 hour drive but she needs some love and kindness. She looks so defeated. http://photos.petfinder.com/fotos/WV...73780-1-pn.jpg |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Great news! A rescue friend of mine is doing a transport tomorrow from Ohio. One of her associates is stopping by today, picking up Tiny and transporting her to Maryland. I can pick her up tomorrow at noon! What a great group of people who want Tiny to have some happiness. I will hopefully be able to post a picture of a healthier, happier Miss Tiny. |

Carmen, you are an ANGEL!!! I admire you so much, first for being willing to take Geezer, and make arrangements to get him to you, if need be, and now you are rescueing Tiny. Your heart is enormous. It really does take a special person to adopt the older dogs knowing heartbreak will come sooner than later. I am choked up reading this great news.

Senior Yorkie Talker | I am so happy to help Tiny. Little senior dogs with potential problems have little to no chance in an overcrowded rural shelter. The staff was wonderful in helping to pull things together in a short period of time. Karen that picked up Tiny this afternoon, has bathed her, medicated her ears and given her some much needed TLC. Miss Tiny will never be hungry again. She will never be on the outside looking in. You will not see Tiny with little pets on her again. Hopefully the next picture you see of Tiny is her sitting on my Victorian porch enjoying Indian summer! |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Many thanks to Karen and Debbie for their help in getting Tiny to me. She arrived home about an hour ago. She is beautiful, but definitely has her battle scars. Underneath her thin but silky hair, are the many scabs and areas of irritation from fleas. She will get better. She is very thin and not 5 pounds, but about 3. The first thing she did was eat. Some good food and a soft bed to rest and she will heal. I will post a picture soon. Tiny is presently sleeping from her long ride. Welcome home Tiny! You will be loved and taken care of from this day on. |
