Senior Yorkie Talker | Tiny has a new friend! Hello all! Hope all is good with all of you. Little Miss Tiny is hanging in there! No more hot days for Tiny! She will spend all of her time with an occasional jaunt outside, in her air conditioned home. No more on the outside looking in. I went to the shelter to bring some donations and was very saddened when I saw no less than 8 families ask to see a small yorkie that was up for adoption. Every single one only spent a few moments with her and put her back. I asked the attendant about her and it seems she was a very quiet and good dog, but was turned in at the age of 12 (nuisance barking they said). She was very sad and did not even whimper. I picked her up and decided I could not let this poor little girls heart be broken any more. At the front desk when I told the girl which dog I wanted to adopt, she literally started to cry. I thought maybe she wanted her for her family and she said no.... that so many people had asked about her over the past week, but no one wanted her because of her age. The last thing I really needed was another one after the heartbreak of Jasper, but I could leave her so sad and rejected. Tiny now has a napping buddy. Tiny now has a little friend just like her with only on little tooth! Just like Tiny she never barks and is very protective of Tiny. Two very beautiful, gentle souls cast aside when they needed someone most. I am blessed to have them both! |

| Little Tiny's story just got even better! God bless you for giving that poor 12 year old girl in the shelter a great home. Nuisance barking!!! Shame upon shame on those people! That dog was a family member and they just dumped her like an old shirt rather than train her not to bark or worry with what was causing her excessive barking such as if should be senility-related or something. I hope the two little Yorkie elder ladies at your comfy home have many good times left and come to care for one another like dear sisters. This is always such a wonderful, uplifting thread to read. What is the new girl's name and am dying to see pictures of both!
