Donating YT 500 Club Member | I'm not familiar with "pitch", but am guessing it's like the sticky sap pines put off? Anyway, with any sticky substance, like gum or those sticky insect traps, I've been told to use vegetable oil to get the substance out of hair. Seems like I've heard of peanut butter being used also. Hope this helps.

| Tar? We have used mineral oil in the hospital to get tar off of patients (ps it has nothing to do with feathers ).

| Dawn dish soap works great!! My DH is a logger and get tree sap all over hisself all the time and in his hair. He will use dish soap to take a bath in and its out in no time. I have also used it on Muffy and Buddy when they got it in there hair.
