| Chase in KY - $200 I am not for sure if this is the right place to put this... Chase IS a rescue and I am trying to find a home for him. I had made a previous post about our local kill shelter calling me about him and I picked him up. In my heart, I did have a glimmer of hope of keeping him long term but in reality, I knew it would be more of a foster situation. He is less than a year old and when I picked him up, he was unaltered. He was neutered yesterday and is getting his rabies shot next week). Retained puppy teeth were taken care of. The lady who dropped him off at the shelter had AKC papers but I honestly never bothered with them b/c he is not breeding quality. He is a big boy at 11lbs. He is very long and lean though and has a silk coat. He will need some work b/c he is not house broken. I have been working with him on this but because of my schedule, its very difficult at this time (a few days before bringing Chase home, I got a 14 year old foster daughter, so I am swamped!). He has been wearing belly bands inside and at this point, I have not tried to pad train him b/c I cannot trust him to go on them and not on my rugs. He has been aggressive (not often but it HAS happened) with other UNaltered males (I have 1 altered and 1 unaltered male in my home). Since he has been neutered, I do not anticipate this being a problem anymore. He does well with baths, putting shirts on, grooming, top knots, etc. Trimming nails is still a work in progress. He is such a cuddle bug! He loves to crawl up with you on the couch and just nap with you. He really is a sweetie and my husband has joked about Chase being his favorite male Yorkie in the house! (Max is a Momma's boy ). I would love to be able to find a wonderful and loving home for Chase, especially on YT! I think he will be fine with kids (he has done well with them so far) and he is a bigger boy so I do not have a fear of him getting hurt, but with any dog, I would never leave them unsupervised. Right now his adoption fee will be $200 to cover some of my costs (adoption fee from shelter, flea meds, heartworm, all vet care, etc). If you have any additional questions, please ask! I will try to answer them in as much detail as possible.

| He's beautiful and looks like he would make a wonderful pet for a family with kids. I've never seen one with a human ear like that though...is that an implant?? Just kidding...it did take me a minute to realize he was sitting in front of a human though! lol! Good luck finding his perfect family... |

| Anyone interested in Chase? I do need to edit that at the vet's office he weighed 9.4 instead of 11lbs. He's just SO long and lean! I have had several people interested (not on YT) but they have just not been the right home for him. There are times that I want to be selfish and keep him b/c he is a GREAT pet and he is the biggest sweetie! He is even doing great off leash now outside which is a huge improvement. He is doing better with the pottying but still has a few accidents. Usually if I baby gate him in a small room (laundry room) he will go on the pad 90% of the time, so when he has full reign, he has a belly band on. He ALWAYS goes when we go outside. There is no more aggression and he is up to date on everything. No baby teeth, etc. If you are interested in giving him a home, please let me know. I am more than willing to work with you. I am getting very attached to him but I know that I have a lot of on my plate and I am afraid I wouldn't have the ongoing time for him to become fulling house broken/pee pad trained, etc.
