| BUMP A pup in a shelter takes priority over any pup needing a home imho.

| Darn it. He's a doll and those eyes are killing me, just too many if only's in our life right now or I'd be thinking awfully hard about a road trip. |

| I just talked to someone that works there. She was an adoption return. She has some medical issues. It was on her chart something about thickening of the knees. I don't know what that involves. She was moved into a different area, and now has kennel cough. But they just found out one of the dogs in that area has distemper. I asked, and they are a kill shelter. |

| OK....I feel SO much better now. I called and spoke with the person in charge of adoptions at the shelter. This little darling was exposed to Parvo, BUT that does not mean she will get it! She is in quarantine to be observed. After that, she has two people who have expressed interest in adopting her. IF those adoptions do not work out, there are two rescues that also have said they will take her in. I was assured that she is not in danger of euthanasia unless she contracts Parvo. So...she is safe unless she becomes ill with Parvo. Everyone please pray for her.

Because it's probably in the same sick room with all the rest of the sick dogs. Just like Riverside and Hemet. So if she's not sick now she will be in a few days and I almost bet my next breath she will not get any treatment if she does get sick. So she will probably die because she has bad knees. I live in Texas, so there is no more that I can do. I made the call and I will now pray for a good outcome. Now, if someone in CA wants to go there and save her, that would be wonderful. Not sure they will adopt her out while she is ill, but maybe if someone begged and offered to take her to a vet immediately. Here in TX the shelters release the sick ones to rescue.
