| CA has just as much of a problem as TX does with all of the Yorkies in need. I just wish more people would open their homes to foster. He is just adorable and deserves a chance.

I appreciate your offer to help! I honestly don't see how we could get him to any of our foster homes. A train that far scares me. Too many miles imo. I really wish we had some CA foster homes. Perhaps one day. CA and TX are just so loaded with yorkies in need.

| What would I need to do to be a foster home? ETA: I know what you mean about too many yorkies in need in CA. Riverside Co is where we used to live where we lost our house. LOTS of abandoned neighborhoods there.

We have an application and all foster homes must meet the same standards as our adopters. The most important thing being good vetting practices on your personal pups. Our membership coordinator handles all of that. If you are interested, PM your name and email and I can forward to her. Or..you can write to yorkiehavenrescue@yahoo.com The plight of dogs in this country is very sad. Some areas are harder hit especially lately.

| Poor guy! I just called them. He is a picked up stray. He's got a flea allergy so he has some hair loss on his back. He's got one cloudy eye, so possible cataract. Very matted, tartar on his teeth. He's about 8 lbs. They have given him bortadella and DHPP. Total adoption fee is about $125. They do NOT put down animals there, only if they are aggressive or severely injured.

Thank goodness...sounds like he will not be euthanized. I hope he is either pulled by a rescue or finds a wonderful home. Thank you for checking on him!!
