| Cute 6-Year-Old Yorkie This is NOT my dog. This poor guy has had a rough life... can someone save him? 6 Year Old Yorkie To Good Home. 6 Year Old Yorkie To Good Home. (Gold Bar, WA) lindsey_annelise@hotmail.com I have a 6 year old yorkie we rescued back in 2005. When we got him he was in poor condition and had a major infection in his mouth. After many vet visits we had all but five of his teeth pulled. He has four molars and one canine tooth in the front. So his tongue hangs out of his mouth. This also means he needs canned food twice a day but he will still eat kibby. His favorite snacks are baby carrots and little bones. His name is Max. Also, In winter of 2007 he had an encounter with a cat and he had to get is left eye removed. He has all his updated shots, has been neutered and is very healthy. We currently have four other dogs and two cats. He needs a home with no small children, dogs, or cats. He is a lap dog and loves his belly rubbed. A small rehoming fee of $50. He will come with his bowls, toys, and his sweaters. Also I will see if I can find his collar and leash. he loves walks but is scared of traffic. He would go well to an elderly person as he just wants love and attention. Call or text me at 425.293.4869 or respond to my email above if you have questions or concerns. My name is Lindsey. Again he just needs to be in a one pet home with no small children and thats why he needs a new home. He is the sweetiest thing ever.

| How sad. I just sent an email to this young lady suggesting that she do a vet check before placing him in a home....and, I also suggested a couple of yorkie rescues that might help if she would consider it.

| That is so sad. He has been through alot. Its very sad when they have to get passed to another home - he does seem to be taken care of but you can't help but feel sorry for him. I hope he finds his forever and ever home soon. He is a cutie & a sweetheart I bet.

| What a sweetie! Poor baby, I hope he finds the perfect home. I wish she would have been more specific as to why he can't go to a home with children or other pets.

| I hope so as well. I hate when people do these things. She did not bother to respond to my email which is not a good sign. Poor pupster.

| He is a cutie and I really hope he found a good home... No offense to anyone, but it really bothers me when people "push" rehomes onto the "elderly" It's not that I don't think the elderly deserve a pet, they do, but my mind instantly goes to this pet is gonna wind up in the pound when the "elderly" passes and no one wants the pet! So sad... (please don't be mad at me for saying that)... Her best bet would have been a Reputable Yorkie Rescue |

We often find that the elderly want puppies. I even get family members who email looking for a young pup for their elderly parent. Those family members are often the same types who end up putting the pup in a shelter when mom and/or dad pass away.
