| Wish they had more on their site as far as age, medical history/issues, etc. We're thinking about adding another dog and she's adorable. Wonder if the tongue sticking out is dental issues or just stress. |

| I do not have problems with biters (when I did rescue they were the ones I got) but I am thinking that is why she was impounded..she is a biter so if you have children she would not be a good home to go to. She could have a lot of fear aggressive issues so you need to be aware of this. I think someone needs to ask why she was impounded because the home she goes to cannot be someone with a first time dog or with children. She needs to go into a home that gives her lots of room to adjust. Please let me know if you find out why she is in the pound.

| I called the shelter this morning. She already has 10 holds on her. They would not let me put a hold on her because they had so many. If she is a biter usually they won't release them to the general public but only to rescues. No sure why it was mentioned that she was a biter. Anyways my guess is that she will end up with a rescue if she truely is a biter. I just pray that who ever gets her will provide her with a loving home. She really is a living doll. |

I will also say many rescues, Yorkies included are full and have no more room and there are some rescues that will not take biters. Did you happen to ask them why she is impounded? I do know that sometimes when a date is used it is because they have to see if the owner comes forward but I just don't know about this one, again because of the one word and I might be reading to much into it.

I did not ask why she was impounded. They have had her for awhile from Nov 19 and they don't usually hold on to them that long. I have heard of dogs being held or impounded due to neglect/abuse sometimes if the owners are in some kind of legal issues with the law and were taken to prision. It would really be interesting to find out. | |

| I thought she'd already been adopted I went to see this dog while I was searching for my dog who was STOLEN from the NORTH CENTRAL SHELTER (long story I won't relive it here). The person who was adopting her was ever so kind enough to wait for me to get there to make sure she wasn't mine. I do wonder what happened. If he hadn't been there, I would have taken her home. I also would have thought that the kennel supervisor would have called to let me know she'd come back. Odd... |
