Sonny update:

Sonny is now officially a YHR pupster. He has been started on meds for Cushings. His hair is coming back in.

I know some of you want to follow him, so he is now there! He does not yet have a bio....but he will soon!

Thank you for the Sonny update. So glad he has a diagnosis and is getting medicine. What a good sign, that his hair is growing back. Can't wait to see the profile.

He looks great! you can see a difference in his coat already! A yorkie that gives hugs! I just might need to come squeeze him and see for myself! What size is he? Does he need anything to keep him warm during this cold season, that really is not so cold? Let me know!

He is 9 pounds I think? Maybe 10? Not huge, but not tiny. I am guessing about a medium? I don't know if he needs any clothing...not sure if his foster mom would dress him. Thank you for thinking of him!
He was neutered yesterday and had a dental and all went very well!

They have started him out on Anipryl. We will see how that works. The only way to know is by waiting and doing blood work again. There are other meds that can be tried if Anipryl does not work. They said the cost for that med is around $80/month. I asked them to let me know how much the other meds are so we can have some kind of idea about possible future cost for anyone interested in adopting him.

I am just so relieved to see him looking so good! He is such a lovable guy..and very happy go lucky!

Yes, it is! Whenever I get disgusted by some of the things I see, I remind myself of all of the wonderful people who support rescue! None of what is done would be possible if not for them!!

God Bless all of those that had a hand in helping this little guy. You all are amazing and I am very proud to be a member of such a loving and caring group of people.
He is a very lucky boy to have so many people care so much about him.
I truly hope he has a wonderful and loving life from here on out.
I hope we will be able to keep updated on his progress.

Good to know! Well if she is interested in maybe having a sweater for him I will send one, our high is 80 today but it can get a little cold here in the winter!

I hope his next rounds of labs prove to be a success, he deserves a break!
