| Texas Yorkie baby needs new home! My friend who has Boston Terriers sent me this email and I thought maybe somebody in Texas could help this sweet little girl!!! ZAZA the Yorkie VET HOLD! Female 4.5 lbs 5 months old OS to VET Typical Yorkie colors - Good markings Spayed Up to date on Bordatella, Rabies, and 7 in 1 shots. Heartworm/lyme/erlichia Negative!!! CATS - not tested Children - not tested House trained - working on it Other Dogs - Good, but like all puppies very in your face with them SPECIAL NEEDS? None ZaZa's story ABTR has stepped up and pledged to help this poor POISONED Little Yorkie puppy in an emergency vet clinic that sent out a plea to the rescue community to help save: URGENT NEED!!! I know this is not a Boston Terrier, but... she is a dog that needed help in a hurry, so... we offered to help her when she needed it most. We have only succeeded in collecting about $700 in donations for her vetting, Won't you please consider pledging just $10 to help us pay for the treatment this poor puppy needed that her owners would not pay for? ABTR is committed to doing all we can for her, but as always our resources have been stretched thin so we need some help to give this little girl the help she needs. Her vetting has exceeded $1500 so far and she still needs to be spayed and have other vetting, so we're grateful for each and every contribution. Thank you. ABTR is a 501c3 charitable organization and every penny you donate is tax-deductible. If you would like to contribute to ZaZa's vet bill, please feel free to use paypal for your payment or you can mail the payment to my vet with the notation ; American Boston Terrier Rescue - ZaZa the Yorkie to: Cynthia Westbrook DVM. 822 N. Grand Ave. Gainesville, TX 76240 Thank you for your assistance for this precious baby girl. |

| I am unclear on some things. The headline of the email says "Texas Yorkie needs new home", yet I don't see in the email where it says anything about adopting. It says, "can you help pay for what the owners would not". The dog has an owner? It says the Yorkie is "spayed", then in the email says spaying has yet to be done. Maybe I am overlooking something. Could you please tell us more? What does the dog have an IV for?

| Well... I don't know more either. As I said my friend has Bostons and one of them is from this rescue group. So she got the email as a member and forwarded it to me. I probably have chosen the wrong title but that was b/c my friend said that she would want me to get the baby if I could. I can't though b/c the limit for dogs here in ABQ is 4 per household. As far as I know the poor baby was poisoned... |

| This incident happened weeks ago and there were emails all over the place asking yorkie people to pay the bills. I would be surprised to hear that they did not recoup their money by now. If anyone is planning to help this rescue, I would be sure to call the vet first to see if there are any outstanding bills. I never did hear the outcome and/or know if that pup survived. I do know she was ill at the time.
