Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Reynard - tri colored "yorkie" in central NJ Adopt a Terrier: Reynard-AdptPnd'g: Petfinder Look at this handsome little boy. Reynard the Fox is a trickster figure whose tale is told in a number of classic tales from medieval Europe. Our little Reynard is an appealing and delightful three-year old, 9.5-lb darling. Very possibly a Biewer Terrier (tri-colored Yorkie), or just a combination of fabulous terrier genes, he’s a very special tiny angel! Fostering in Central NJ, Reynard has been neutered and is up-to-date on all required vaccines. He has tested negative for heartworm and is receiving preventative meds. Lively, agile and alert, Reynard will be a loving companion to his adult caregiver. Because of his tiny stature, he’ll only be considered for adoption into a family with no small children. Terrific with other small dogs, and only occasionally interested in his feline companion, he’d do well with another similarly diminutive fursib or two. If you’re interested in adopting Reynard, please contact My Way Home Rescue at MWHR-Adoptions.

| It does look like a poorly bred biewer but I am sure he is full of love and joy like most biewers are.

| It's a bit concerning how some of these places seem quick to jump the gun lately and label these dogs as Biewers (or anything for that matter). Fact of the matter is, you can't tell from looks alone if the dogs are Biewers, Partis, or Yorkie crossed with something else. I'm wondering if they are doing that to increase interest in the animals. Poor little guy. He's a cutie for sure. I hope someone gives him a good home. |

| Good point Bama...as I didn't think to ask about the tail...but I believe Parti's and Biewers started out as the same dogs. Would love to know how the dog got to rescue. I also don't have a problem if a rescue organization trys to market their dogs to get them adopted no matter what....as long as they fix them. Heck you saw some of my rescue Yorkies and they were very poorly bred..even Feebie who has AKC papers. And then there is little Bella who is a black and tan Yorkie...a no no..

| Well you can send that black and tan no no Bella to me anyday! I guess whatever it takes to get someone's attention and get them into a good home....that's what matters most. Poorly bred means little to me in that regard--they need love too and have lots of love to offer in return. |

I love the look of a show dog but my heart always will be for the poor little ones that are thrown away for many reasons. It is just like human's...I don't like people just by how they look but what is in their hearts.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | LOL did it say that before??? i totally did NOT notice that. Well its great that he does have a pending adoption because he is adorable, biewer or not. I think shelters do try to come up with a more specific breed label to get more people interested in the dogs up for adoption. I've worked with shelters for years and back when i first started most dogs were labeled terrier mixes or lab mixes. Now people are more aware of different breeds and shelters are using this to get more dogs adopted. I think its great as long as the dog and adopting parents are happy.
