| Thank you for your post. The Houston Humane Society does their own adoptions. They have a huge operation there and do full vetting and adoptions.

| Good to see they have the resources! And that they are a good establishment! LadyJane I'm glad you are close enough to check on him if you need to! There is nothing worse than letting a sweet little baby sitting somewhere in a shelter with no vetting and they wont work with rescues, I'll never understand that.

Some people find that offensive, but it beats the shelters who euthanize those they can adopt. And, that does happen, but that is less common. There are many really good shelters ... and many bad ones...but that is with everything in life. Some good..some bad.
