| Update I emailed the foster mom -- Jack is also a yorkie - she hasn't posted his picture & info yet, she said he does have some health issues, but did not elaborate. Willie is housebroken, Ben can be if he wants, but he still does lift his leg. She said they are adorable quiet little guys. Ben has recently started playing wth some toys. She think Ben was his mom's favorite because he seemed to miss her the most, was depressed for a while but his little tail wags now when she comes home. The owner was killed and her brothers and sisters did not want the dogs. -- It does make you think -- who would take your dogs if you died? And where would you want them to go? I hate to think about it -- and I really don't have a good answer. But that somehow doesn't make me stop about having more yorkies. I wish I lived closer to these boys

| Oh my! Bless their hearts! So sad. I've wondered this before and I really don't know... I'm awful but I feel no one could give Lilly the time and care I give and that really deeply saddens me. May they be put in a loving home to live the rest of their lives! Love their sweet faces!

| I see this a lot. What kills me is when the people die thinking that someone will care for their pups and then the people back out. That is different than sudden death like what happened to these pups. It is extremely important that people make provisions for their pups in their wills. My pups are a family and I will not leave this earth knowing that they are at risk of being split up. I have already thought out what I will do and everyone knows what my wishes are. I have a special person who is going to see that my wishes are carried out.

| these boys have just captured my heart -- I can not stop thinking about them. Or get their faces out of my mind. I wrote their foster mom again - this is some of what she told me: The boys are doing fine. Willie and Ben are two of the sweetest boys I've ever had in my house. Jake on the other hand is a crotchety old man. lol. He is so funny. He makes me laugh. I had some friends here this weekend and of course they sit on the floor with the pups. Well Jake attached himself to one of them and laid in her lap and as long as she was petting him he was okay. But let her stop and he started his unique bark. AND It had to be with two hands, not one. I have not put Jake on our adoption pages or on petfinder. I guess I should, I really don't think he will ever be adopted. He has congested heart failure and is on medicine for it. He is doing fine, but I don't think anyone will ever want to adopt him. Ben now jumps and wags his tail when I come home. He wants up on the couch with me, so he is coming around. He tugs at my heart. Willie wags his tail too and he also now wants up on the couch with me. I just love these little guys & wish I was in Texas to get them. I'm having chattiesmom send them some Yorkie Yummies & I'm sending some toys down to them. I just want to bring all 3 to my house. Has anyone else ever been gaga like this over a rescue to the point that you can't stop thinking about them?

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Awwww, they are sooo sweet, but what an incredibly SAD story! This just breaks my heart But I do have to say, they look FANTASTIC for their age - they must have been extremely well taken care of. I'm sure they miss their mommy soo much This is so so sad. Being that I am in Texas, I would take them in a HEARTBEAT if I didn't have 5 furbabies already, and if my hubby would let me have more God I wish like heck that I could help these little angels

| Oh I hope someone takes them together. It would be a shame to separate them when they've spent their whole lives together (10 and 12 yr. old). It would be a sin to separate them. They are adorable. Elaine. |

The saddest part - I didn't post this part of the email - she is not trying to place them together - she said she thought it would be easier not to. I think she must be resolved to keep Jake, since she says she can't imagine anyone would want him

Aren't they in the Dallas area? That would be easy for you to get to! I had five at one time and traveled with them alone. It really was not an issue for me. I even had to evacuate during Hurricane Rita with all of them and they were easy to manage in the hotel. I am sure you could do it! I hope you consider it....it really bothers me that she felt she should separate them...without even trying first to keep them together. Very sad. As for Jake...she needs to understand that there is a home for every pup. We do not have a forever ours any more for that reason...we want all to be available for adoption. Now IF no one does not adopt then we will keep them forever.

So, I have that practical side - and then I think I still can see these boys with me. I am thinking about it.

I am thinking of buying an RV. I have always loved to travel and having all these kids has clipped my wings. If you have family in the Houston area...relocate here and I will babysit sometimes.
