My Doodlebug is from an Amish Puppymill but his mom was purchased at an auction while she was pregnant with him litter. I looked at all of the puppies but didn't see any of the moms. Do you know anything about this rescue? How do they acquire the puppies.

| It sounds odd. When I adopted Doodlebug, the rescue purchases his mother not for the puppies but to save the mom. I don't understand the point of the rescue only having the puppies. Anyone can purchase an Amish Puppymill puppy but most rescues try to get the mom out of the mill. The puppies are not the ones that suffer like the adults do.
