| I am not too familiar with "male" Yorkie's but it does seem a little young to be neautered at 12 weeks. It sounds as if they are taking it seriously to find a wonderful home for Prince. They possibly neautered him young to insure that Prince is not used as a stud in breeding. This is my only guess towards this?? I do wish for Prince to find a sweet loving home with hugs and kisses.

| That is really early, we recommend 6 months, but he seems to be in good hands...finally. Boo Hiss to the bad breeder who didn't screen adoptees well and refused to take the pup back and rehome him. This is an excellent price for a yorkie pup and I'm sure they'll find him a good home soon. Wish they'd post the name of the breeder so people would know not to go there for pups. |

| most shelters opporate on an early nueter/ spay philosphy. They dont want unneutered dogs leaving their facility only to be used for breeding, so they do it before they leave. 12 weeks is not so young, i have heard of them doing it even sooner at 6 weeks old (for larger breed dogs, because they can be released sooner) |
