Actually I found her on petfinder from the thread Breezaway posted a couple days ago. The guy said he got her from a friend who couldn't keep her in ME and he can't take care of her because he has 3 kids and recently moved to FL. His posting went up too late on petfinder so he just took her to FL with him. If I have to drive the 8 hrs I will. I can't let her get by me. She is too cute.

Gosh I must have missed her on petfinder! I look like everyday for the entire Orlando area. I hope someone can help you out, I really wish I could, but my schedule is weird this week. Plus if I helped I might just bring her home with me jk I really do hope everything works out!!! But if for any reason it falls through, please let me know, I would love to take her in if you aren't able to.

I want to vent I'm so upset I made arrangements to have her brought up to Charlotte and now the man won't answer my emails. So I don't know if there ever was a yorkie or if he just gave her to someone. I just wished he could of had the guts to email me something, insted of having me make arrangements.

Scam alert Be careful of petfinder classified ads. It was a scam. After I told the man I would pick up the yorkie instead of pay for her to be shipped is when all communication stopped. Also the exact same ad was reposted on petfinder on 10/18/08 with the contact info, state, and dog name changed. But the wording of the ad is EXACTLY the same as the ad for 10/08/08. SO BEWARE

Thanks for the heads up! Especially for me because I live in/right near Clermont, and probably would have gotten my hopes up eventually thinking there was a yorkie in my area. Sorry to hear it was a scam Did you report them?

Scam I don't mean to put a damper on your happiness. But....I think I responded to the same ad. I also corresponded with a man from Clermont, FL who had a yorkie to re-home. We corresponded, he even gave me a telephone number (that didn't work, even though the operator said it was a working number). When I caught on to the fact that it was a SCAM, (when I told him that my husband and I would be coming to pick her up), the correspondence became very, very obscene and vulgar. I would most definitely check this out some more.
