| Looking for the best home for my yorkies, preferably southern Maryland I am going through a divorce. I haven't had my 2 yorkies in a little over a year now and they are with my ex and my daughter. They are Cricket and Bubba. My ex does not want to keep them any longer and I can't take them. This is VERY hard on all involved especially my daughter, 15. Cricket and Bubba are 4 year old litter mates. They are very lovable and snuggly. We are in Southern Maryland and my daughter would still like the opportunity to see them every now and then if possible. I just want the BEST home possible for them. They are AKC, Bubba is neutered and Cricket is not. Cricket is 6lbs. and Bubba a whopping 12 lbs. Please help if you can. They have always been together and NEED to stay that way!! Thank you so much!! |

| My ex is the one who is giving them away!! I would take them but our house is being foreclosed and I have no idea where I am going after that. I thought about keeping them until I found somewhere new but looks like I'll be renting a room and no pets on all I've seen... They just need the best home possible because they are the best! Thanks. |

| Could you look into professional fostering until you get back on your feet? Sorry for your difficulties.

| I am so sorry for all you are going thru. Does your daughter have a friend at school that might be able to take them? Or a teacher? I know this isn't Maryland, but I gal was looking for one that lives in Penn. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...eeds-home.html Hugs to you all

| placing The Chas Co Humane Society has a "wish" book...people put their names in it hoping to find a certain breed...I have contacted people in the past when trying to find the perfect home for a rescue or retired dog...meet several long time friends that way...Dawn Nevitt used to work there and she was very helpful. I think she moved to Calvert, but may still work in Chas CO...you can also contact the YT club of the Nations capitol..they have a rescue and rehoming service. |

| I cried when I read this. I remember you posting quite awhile ago. I'm so sorry all this is happening to you and your daughter. I have a friend in Mt. Airy...I see that it looks like it's more in N. MD, but do you want me to see if she's interested? She has a big house and a husband and a son who's about maybe 13 or 14 (maybe 15 by now!). Let me know and I'll contact her.

| I'm so sorry you're going through this. Maybe you could find someone to foster them until you are able to take them back yourself.
