| National No More Homeless Pets Conference I happened to learn about this conference and thought I would let anyone know who might want to attend - particularly those involved with rescues. Here's the info: Contact: Barbara Williamson (435) 644-2001, ext. 4408, (435) 689-0200 (cell), barbara@bestfriends.org John Polis (435) 644-2001, ext. 4858 (office) or (435) 817-2980 (cell), johnp@bestfriends.org May 29, 2008 Las Vegas announced as venue for return of No More Homeless Pets Conference, Oct. 24-26 Best Friends Animal Society is bringing back the national No More Homeless Pets Conference that helped galvanize the creation of lifesaving programs for homeless pets in communities across the country. Immediately following the conference, attendees are also invited on an optional tour of the nation's largest no-kill companion animal sanctuary. | That sounds very interesting. Do you know is this just open to people that are employed or in administration at shelter's or rescue's? I wonder if you don't attend the conference, if you can still take the overnight trip to Best Friends? I would love to do that and I could visit with my son in L.Vegas all at the same time. What a great trip that would be.

| From what I know, anyone interested in the issue can attend. I'm sure you can address your question to these people or the website.
