I didn't ask about cataracts. But her eyes did not appear cloudy. I can certainly ask that. I have no idea why she was shaved down. I thought the grooming job was kind of unusual. I'm wondering if her owner had trouble keeping her brushed, so shaved down was easier.

I just looked at the pictures again & now I see why you asked about cataracts -- I didn't notice that when I was there. I wonder if my flash was reflecting in her eyes. I probably didn't even need the flash it was so bright in there

Gosh, she is so sweet. I have an 8 year old that I got about 1 1/2 years ago. Is she good with other dogs or do you know? I am going to talk to my husband about her tonight. I am having issues with potty training mine, but the 2 together might be what they both need. My Maggie is used to living with others like her for so long. She was owned by a breeder before. Maybe they would be 2 peas in a pod.

They said she has done well with the other dogs at the vet. They knew I had 2 & a cat, and they felt like she would be okay. She is really a sweet girl with a nice temperament. It would be so wonderful if you could take her in

i would love to have her, but My husband is afraid we would have 2 little dogs pottying in the house, besides the distance and the rising gas prices, they just went up again today. I really hope she finds a new home. Please keep us posted. If I lived closer, I think I would have come to snatch her right up and dealt with hubby later. Those eyes need love.

I would love to have her and will be going through Des Moines over Memorial Day weekend. We couldn't have another dog until then because my daughter is getting married in Minneapolis that weekend and we had a heck of a time finding somewhere for Sophie. I don't know what my husband would say. He won't be home till late tonight.

If you could take her, I would be willing to drive part way & meet you. Of course, the vet would have to agree to all of this

I called the vet today to check on Chloe. She may possibly have a home with a family member of one the vet's receptionists. I did speak directly with the vet this morning. She has my number and will call me if this home doesn't work out. I believe Chloe was to go to this gal's house - the potential home has an older small dog, and they were unsure if the other dog would accept Chloe.

I asked about cataracts & the vet said no signs, just the aging eyes that many dogs get as they age - I think she called it lenticular sclerosis

She does potty outside. One of the vet techs had taken her home several nights so Chloe did not have to stay at the clinic alone, she reportedly had no accidents.

A good home is what I hope this sweet girl finds. I will update if I here from the vet next week

Oh, I wish I could...if I could I would. Hopefully she'll find the perfect home forever.

Hi--
Where about are you in Iowa? I am in Davenport and if not too far, would love to give her a home.
