| Charleston, SC --Senior Yorkie How could you??? This is so sad... This was posted on my facebook here in Charleston. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I cannot take another dog, or I would rescue him... Those involved in rescue, should I call my local rescue where I got Kiwi (7 yo rescue yorkie) from ??? I don't know what to do, but I want to save this baby... ------------------------------------------------ FREE - 13-year-old Yorkie Good dog, still acts like a pup. Has been spoiled all his life, not had any real training (he is housebroken), and he's not so friendly with other dogs, and he's best left outside when small children are around. He barks a lot if you leave him outside, too. We don't want to put him down, but we just can't deal with him anymore. We'd like him to go to a good home. He is super loveable and cuddly, and very sweet and friendly to adults. He's a good inside dog.

| Oh, no!! No, we have a home in central Alabama but we are in Colorado right now & don't know when we will be back in AL. Cindy [Chattiesmom] lives in GA, but she has a problem with her ankle that she broke and is supposed to leave for TX tomorrow. Is the Yorkie in GA?

| Yes, he is in Charleston, SC. I got one of my two dogs from a rescue here, and I have e-mailed them, but I think they're sort of "in over their heads" with so many animals anyway, so I'm hoping you all can help me find a solution!! I was going to say in my original post too that if anyone wanted to adopt him, I would drive part way if we needed a "train".... Please...someone....help this little pup out

| Maybe the first step would be to contact the owners and get some more information about him and possibly some photos. Maybe you can plead his case to them (to please not put him to sleep and that we want to help find him a good home, etc....) |

| Ok GREAT! There's gotta to be a safe home for him. I am concerned about the FREE part - there are a lot of BAD people out there that may cause him harm and the way his ad read I don't know how cautious his owners are going to be. This is very sad |

| I know....that's what made me nervous too...because when people see "free" and "yorkie" they think, OH, GREAT! But not so much....so I'm praying that he hasn't been "shipped" to an even worse home...

| Oh this is horrible!! I will come get him and find him a good home if worse goes to worst! I can house him until we can find a good rescue or somebody for him. A good elderly person would be great for him. Somebody who is home a lot and has time for him. Somebody with no children and not much to do. It would keep both of them company. I will look. I might have just the home for him.

| I need to know how to contact him!! Unless somebody who knows how to get up with him can give him my email whitney_faulkner@hotmail.com please let me know! Maybe somebody great has already adopted him. Lets think positive! If we dont know, lets atleast not think negative. We can keep him in our prayers too. There is somebody out there for this little guy to give him lots of love and attention! Maybe we can post an ad about an elderly mixed small dog (like a mutt) and whoever would take in a poor little baby like that would surely give him a good home too. I will take him in until we find him somebody! I just hate that he has to be moved around so much, and I am getting a little baby in May. I feel so sorry for him.
