| Attn: Cincinnati or tri-state area, Yorkie in kill shelter Ok, so as some of you may know I lost my baby Tater, he's been missing for two weeks now. Today I went to check one of the shelters that I have been checking every couple days. There was a Yorkie that was brought in on February 14th (not Tater) and he has not been claimed yet. I asked when he was going to go into the adoption, they said he isnt going into adoption because he supposedly bit somebody. Only reason I do not believe them is because this shelter has been known to lie to people, they are not easy to work with at all. When I adopted my cat from there, they were very rude to me and my husband. Anyways they plan on putting this Yorkie down very soon, so if anyone does not have a problem with telling a little lie and say this is there dog and has the money to pay to get him out. I'm not sure how much it will cost since they charge daily for keeping them. He is very cute, he is taller than a normal yorkie but looks full blooded. His coloring is black and tan, his hair is about 3-4 inches long. My heart is breaking for this little guy, I just dont have the money to get him out and they already know that he is not my dog since I have a been in there many times. I feel so bad for him, and I dot not want to see him put down. He did not seem aggressive while I was there, he just barked like he wanted out. He is in the top cage (3rd cage up). The animal shelter is in Trenton, Ohio. It is called Animal Friends Humane Society. I really hope somebody is able to help. This is their website. http://animalfriendshs.org/ |

| oh - i looked & I didn't see him. Why would they be so rude & pass up adopting these dogs out?? They have a ton of dogs! I did see one they were calling a poodle/yorkie mix -- but I think it is a Bichon/Yorkie mix - very cute. But I'm too far away to help. How is the search for your yorkie going?
