| Shih Tzu mix needs home I saw this on a yahoo group this morning and thought I would share the info here so this darling can get a loving home soon. I know she is not a Yorkie but I know several Yorkie people also love the Shih-Tzu, I hope its OK to post this , it says she does well with small dogs. Hi, Ness is a 2 year old Shih-tzu mix that has gradually gone blind. She still has both of her eyes. She is in need of a home URGENTLY, so that she can bond with her new owners and not her foster mother (me). She is pee pad trained, and mixes well with smaller dogs. She does NOT know that she is blind, She is very active and tries to follow me everywhere. She is very sweet, and loves to kiss! If you are interested, please call me at 812-437-2284 (Paula) or see her picture at www.caringpawsrescue.org It is important that we get her in a home ASAP so that she can start bonding! Thanks, Paula |

| OMG, what a sweetheart she is. I have a Shih Tzu of my own. They are the sweetest dogs. Right now I'm not looking for another dog but I hope this cute pie gets a forever home soon. Sounds like she deserves one.

| OMGosh, she is in my hometown! I've been looking at another dog that is blind for a long time and really tried hard to talk my husband into adopting her. He thinks that with the new puppy coming, it would be too much. Does anyone have experience with a dog that is blind?

| No, I don't have experience with a dog that is blind. But maybe if you started a new thread with your question, you probably will get more responses. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just by my own experience and reading others on here, I think you might get more people to respond by starting a new thread about that cause unless someone looks in this Shih Tzu rescue thread you probably won't get any responses. Oh and just recently, I posted a thread in the wrong section, so it happens to all of us @ one time or another. "Good Luck" with responses to your question. And Bless You, for wanting to adopt a blind dog.
