Default NY craigslist

Anyone interested? I'm so sad to see dogs listed on there, it shouldn't even be allowed. (I put this here because it gets more traffic)

I sent a long letter to this woman as I think I may be able to offer this little guy a perfect home. I'll let you know if I hear back from her.

He is absolutely adorable! I'm trying not to get too excited, but it's hard not to when you look at his photographs.

We take our trip to Disney World and the Bahamas from Feb. 5 to Feb. 14 and I'm already going through separation anxiety regarding leaving Tika with my mother for nine days. I'm not sure how I'm going to sleep without having her snuggled up to my knees.

Oh, please do let me know what happens. It totally breaks my heart to see animals listed on craigslist. I had sent her an email asking her to consider surrendering him to a rescue as well but it sounds like you may actually have a much better alternative. If you need to let her know how you came across it you can mention that I'm from Liverpool. I look at craigslist pets section daily now, just a few days ago there was a beautiful boston terrier boy listed on there and I posted about him on the boston board I have a membership on. There were all sorts of people responding about the rescues in the area and one person was local and was going to take him but he went before he had a chance. I really love all animals but the ones that are the same breed as the ones so close to my heart really tug at the heart strings. Makes me want to save the world kwim. I fully intend to get involved with rescue in the future when my children are all grown and I am retired but right now it just is not feasable to take on any more pets even for a short time Ok... so now that I have rambled.... please do keep us updated

These are two different dogs advertised by the same person ...

I wonder how many Yorkies this person is looking to rehome?

It looks the same and cerebrial palsey isnt to much of a headache. Like the vet said it would be more of a bother to the owner then to the pup.. I think as long as he's placed in a nice safe forever home there will be a match. I think the lady doesnt seem to uphearted with her cancer treatments and is thinking the worse and that is why she is rehoming him.. He is a doll baby.. Good luck to jamiesaari in the potential forever home.

I'm pretty sure it's not the same dog and she has two dogs available. Take a look at the two pictures ... one is a puppy and the other is a one-year-old. I'm wondering if she's a breeder?

Here is the first ad that says it is a one year old dog.

I am looking for a loving home for a one year old 75% Yorkie/25% shihtsu...
Very Cute and a lot of fun.....Needs training....Not neutered....Needs work...
I have been battling Cancer and cannot spend time with him....He weighs 7Lbs and he is full grown...The pictures show him looking a bit scraggly as I gave him a quick haircut...He grows a beautiful coat if you have the time....Loving approved home only! Email breath4cf@aol.com for more info

Here is the second d saying it is a five month old puppy.

Ok Here's the scoop....Yes I have a 5 month old gorgeous Yorkie (tail not docked) who needs a older mom to love him and care for him and overlook his Cerebral Palsy = He got stuck in the birth canal during birth. It is a non-progressive disorder, meaning the brain damage does not worsen, but secondary orthopedic deformities are common. So he isn't perfectly balanced. He is very playful and sweet and can be a real handful, but he is a bit wobbley. Sometimes when he's tired he falls over and then picks himself up. He wobbles when he looks up at you just a bit. He can chase me all over, but he needs rugs or cloth to keep him from sliding. The vet says that his disorder is more of a bother to humans than him. So Due to my battle with my cancer, I really need to find him a new Mom.
ABSOLUTELY NO KIDS! NO YOUNG FAMILIES! I'm sorry but he's a bit too delicate for that. Email me if you are the Mom he needs - breath4cf@aol.com and leave a phone number.

Hmmmmm I guess your right, I didn't pay close enough attention to the details. Did you get a response back from her at all?

I wrote her a long, personalized letter and never heard back from her. It's been about 24 hours now and I am doubting I'll hear from her.

Thats too bad, I hope she was able to find a nice loving home for them both. The puppy one is not even on there anymore, she must have deleted it.
