| Must rehome my new yorkie, please read .... Hello , I am looking to see if anyone near alabama ,miss, or georgia might be looking for a female yorkie? I have just recently gotten her and due to the fact that shes not getting along with my lexi I am probally going to have to rehome her, I am trying to wait and see if they can become friends but so far its been alot of unfriendliness and I am just afraid this may not work out..If someone is interested please pm me or email me at baleybo@yahoo.com this is NOT a scam and I can send pictures of her,,,shes beautiful...4 years old silver and blue silky hair,,,,shes never been bred, not spayed just never bred. She will need some dental work..I have had her on antibotics but she does need some pulled and a cleaning...Shes utd on shots and good on rabies till feb 2008.Shes 3.5 pounds and very small, probally why she hasnt been breed, she needs to be a pet. She does very well on pads occasionally she will miss but I keep pads in major rooms and she does great...I want to say that she will have to bwe picked up but I am willing to drive some distance to help with the transportation and I am only asking what I paid for her plus the recent vet bill which was 59.00 her fee is actually quiet low but I am not going to post it here...I will be asking some questions to prospective homes because I want whats best for her...NO BREEDERS please...Thanks and sorry so long...

| Shes home finally Well I just wanted to post this so everyone would know I have been working extra hard on finding her a new home but I have found that shes finally at home here with me,,,,guess it just took more time than I had expected it too..We went a few days ago to meet a nice lady and Lovie just went balistic she would not have anything to do with her she came back to me instantly, after we got back home I just talked to her and told her we have to all get along or we have to do something else...I suppose she understood me cause after that it did start to get better,,,the girls seem to be better now but theres still a little jealousy but its better shes finally barking and runs to meet me at the door when I get home,,,She has found her a home and she picked it because I was ready to give up on her,,,shes doing much better this isnt to say we dont still have some issues but its much much better...Thanks for all the inquiries and all the pms and all the advice on them getting along from all the yt members...

I have 3 yorkies. When I got my second, my first tried to eat him. I just got my third, I kid you not, my other two did not "talk" to me for days. It is slow going, but I know from experience they will eventually all be best friends. Hang in there!

| Thanks so much for all the encouragement I was so worried that they would kill each other, things are getting better each day now,,,shes still scared of her shadow and has little trust but its coming along better now,,,she has a vet appointment this thursday for dental cleaning and tooth pulling that needs to be done. I have considered having her spayed but I am not sure how that would affect her at this point ,,,,what are the opinions of other members on spaying her even though I have no male to bother or impregnant her??? Do you think this would help or worsten her fears??? Thanks in advance..

| Perosnally, I would spay her immediately....With her size, you do not want to take any chances...Say of her accidently getting out and a male getting to her.... ...I have learned when a female is in heat....She will do just about anyhting to get to a male...and a male will do just about anything to get to her.....Just not worth the risk... Also, I had been told that by spaying her...You help reduce some Cancer issues...And that by spaying, you are lengthening her life span If I am wrong, someone please speak up..... Joyce
