My furkids Donating Member | Those poor animals! Makes me want to go out there and smack the sh*t out of them!! Someone should make these people live in those conditions!! I work with a couple of people that bought from a pet store that had been shut down and one time and re-opened under another name. They have had several health issues with their puppies. One of the girls that just bought a chi was having urinary problems with her little girl. When I asked where she bought it it was from the same pet store that I reported to the ASPCA..i couldn't believe she bought her pup there!! I told her that they all come from puppy mills and her response was..."they need to be in loving homes too" I agree with this but, the more puppies that are bought from these places the more the mills are kept in business. I told her to go back to the store and see if she could get some info on the parents (which I knew she wouldn't get any...they probably don't even know who the parents are) and the store was closed...Guess I wasn't the only one that reported them. I wish these videos could be sent to every single person that wants to buy a puppy...

| Well I hate seeing this kind of video's. I think that maybe if this was published more often on all the news stations, just maybe people would stop buying in a pet store. And I do not mean only when a puppy mill is caught..I mean all the time so everyone gets it..and STOPS buying from a pet store. No buyers, would mean no puppy mills. Fine the pet stores severly so that they will only do it once. Look at all the air time, Iggy got, yes I felt bad for the family that got him and that he should have stayed with them...BUT How about making all that air time to more of what Pet stores sell... Maybe some emails to some stations like CNN should be told to air some of these. Like Bob Barker use to say have your pets spayed or neutered. This is so disgusting, i wish I alone could do something to stop this, or make it a law that pet stores cannot sell live animals for can sell food, toys, clothing, and any needs a pet needs. I guess I could ramble on and on..but who am I to change the dog world..other then making me sick about it all. pooh's mum |
