I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Have you seen the Vendors' List, this list contains YT members who offer products and many offer discounts to other members. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ore-sites.html Many of them offer belly bands, and the I know the first listing of 2 Parises store site sells nothing but belly bands, and she has several in different football fabrics. 2Parises on Etsy - 2Parises Shop - Comfortable * Casual * Style

| I make belly bands. You can see them if you click on the link in my signature for more info. I have one multisport fabric http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...ortsThemes.jpg and a football fabric http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/Football.jpg and a few baseball fabrics.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | You don't need to know, it looks like you have a beautiful little girl. Belly bands are especially useful on unneutered males, because many often mark even in their own homes. The belly band is just a piece of fabric, usually with a Velcro closure, and you put a sanitary pad inside. Joey's is neutered and never marks in our house, but when we go to homes where other dogs live, he thinks nothing of marking, so he wears a cute little band when we go visiting.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi Nancy, I didn't know that a dog would still mark after being neutered. That is good to know. I always wanted a female. I had the opportunity to give a beautiful male Shih Tzu/Peekingnese a home for free but he was not neutered and I didn't want him to spray and I heard that dogs will spray if they haven't been neutered early enough and he was over a year. I just never knew that they would spray after being neutered. But it wasn't meant to be and I wouldn't have my beautiful Niyah if I would have taken him. If it were a girl, I would have taken it in a second. I find Shih Tzus to be gorgeous too.

Nancy, I read that girls can mark too but I thought it was a misprint. Wow! I didn't think that a girl would mark. I have female cats and they do not mark. I guess female dogs are different. That sure is interesting. So far Niyah does not mark. I don't know if has to do with her being spayed or not and I have another female dog, a Samoyed. It must have to do with being around males which I don't have. I do have a male Sphynx that I have to watch out for because he will spray occasionally. I breed him once in a great while but have been thinking of neutering him. Thanks for educating me.

| I sent you a PM about Belly Bands. I have a female marker too. She's definitely the alpha female in the house and can't stand for anyone to pee in the yard. She'll circle them until they move so she can claim the spot.
