| looking for carrier that can double as a kennel for trips I was wondering if anyone can recommend a carrier that can be used as a kennel also. Sophie is about 4 1/2 pounds and travels with me to my boyfriend's house often. There are two larger dogs there which she loves to play with, but if we go somewhere or if company comes over that isn't use to smaller dogs, I would like something fairly big for her to stay in. Also, at 11 months she continues to have a bit of a chewing/scratching problem, which is why I'm looking for a new carrier for her. She scratched up her old kennel and now it's frayed and I don't want her to try to eat it. I had a large zipper carrier that was great, but she learned very quickly to work at the zipper and get out. I would carry around her wire crate, but that's fairly heavy. Thank you in advance and I apologize for the length of this. |

| How about one like this? Amazon.com: BRAND NEW DOG CAT PET KENNEL CARRIER... I use a similar one to transport my puppies to the vet. I also have it (dorr open) out beside my chair in the living room. That way occasionally one will go in and nap there. But they seem to prefer to use me as their bed.
