| How long does the hair need to be before you can keep the bows in their hair? So far, we can only get one to stay in for about 45 seconds. What is the trick? We would love to keep that hair out of Penny's eyes! |

And to the OP, remember that barrettes can be a choking hazard so if that's what you decide to use, be very careful to supervise your puppy while she is wearing her bow.

Just make sure the topknot isn't too tight and use high quality grooming bands. The end of a rat tail comb works well to loosen the topknot. Barrettes can actually break the hair, too. My bow customers are pretty much split 50/50 as far as bands or barrettes go.

| yea my pups hair isn't that long. it does get in his eyes though. i've just been pushing it out of the way. i cant wait till it gets longer so i can use the bow. i know it's annoying for my pup to have all that hair in front of eyes.
