| Stuffed animal WITHOUT a squeaky I've been looking at dog toys. After visiting all of the pet stores that I know of in town I'm yet to have found a stuffed animal toy without some kind of squeaky. I know puppies and dogs must love that squeaky but I'd like at least one toy that won't make a noise (only the noises she'll make when playing with it). At her breeders there was a blue stuffed donkey toy (that was as big as she was) that she really liked (or really liked pulling the tail) that I don't believe had a squeaky in it. I wanted to get her something to that effect then, so she'd have a "life sized" (so to speak) stuffed animal for her when she came home. Any thoughts? I'm sure they must exist ..... |

| Valentino's favorite stuffed animal came from Babies'r'us. There is no squeaky and he loves to cuddle with "Babs".

| I would just buy a stuffed animal from a toy store or any toy department. I bought Lacy a Teddy Bear from I think Walmart when I got Lacy. It had a hat and sweater on...but she chewed them off and we now have an old naked bear LOL

| Just get a stuffed animal made for children at a toy store or even Wal-mart or Target. I got Abbey a cute little stuffed pig without a squeaker at the dollar section in Target.

| I know what you mean and we go to garage sales and buy baby toys ( small stuffed ) and usually there is no noise maker stuffed inside. Our furbabies love them because of the size and we love them because of the price.... which is usually around 10-25 cents! Hope this helps .... |

| Thanks for all of the suggestions, they're great! : A little angel (by the name of yougetthesmiles) will be sending me something but it certainly doesn't hurt to look for others as well! I'm going to keep my eyes open for some of the things you guys suggested. (Though as exciting as a cheap yard sale toy sounds I'll be out of town this weekend, next weekend, and the weekend after I pick the puppy up!) |

| You are sooooooooo right!!!! My dogs adore these...their favorite toys! They love the mini Build-A-Bear stuffed animals that McDonalds gave away a few months back. My biggest Yorkie, Harley (21lbs.) has a fave of these...his is a light purple bear that is wearing a little white dress. Great suggetion! Tammy |

| The baby department is the best place to find cute and cuddly toys for our furbabies. They are made well enough for babies and young children to chew on and most do not have squeekers or rattles inside; My girls love the baby toys more than regular doggy toys.

| We love the Dr. Noys Toys. They have squeakers, but you can remove them! We take them out right when we buy them. Wrigley is afraid of squeakers and Crosley loses her mind over them!

| Thanks everyone! I can't believe all the responses this got! And all of the great ideas!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I'm totally going to keep all of it in mind for future reference! Well, I was on vacation while most of this happened Before I left I had tried every pet store in town and our Toys R Us, no success. The only stuffed animals I found that didn't have squeakers had little beads and I wasn't going to get any of those! Well, while I was away I went to an IKEA store. (For the first time, it was very cool, my whole family thought it was hilarious but we all loved going! There were tons of great things there and a lot of things I'd wanted to get but simply couldn't since I couldn't carry or check them in my luggage and couldn't afford the crazy shipping. My boyfriend and I are already trying to plan a trip to a store close to us--aka in our own state--to get those few items. ) Anyway, they had kids things, including stuffed animals! So I went a little crazy, just a little, since they were perfect and cheap! So we got her the amazingly soft rabbit, the white and gray mice, and the adorable hippo that'll be close to her size for a large cuddle animal. |

| Those mice are super cute!!! I always get toys from various places...sometimes they rattle or crinkle or nothing at all. I don't have chewers, but I normally try to find plush w/o bead eyes, etc.
