| Bike basket for dogs Does anyone know where I can get a basket that Tobey could ride in while I go bike riding? I am a social worker, so I don't have a lot of money and everything i find online is at least $50 or more. Anyone have one they don't use? or ideas of how I could make something? Please please help! He really wants to feel the wind in his face!

| I have been looking for one too. My hubby just bought me a brand new bike for my b-day and I am looking for a cheaper but yet more comfortable one than the ones they sell on line. I have actually been thinking of just getting the wire mess crates and lining it with a fabric pad since this may be best for a cool breeze for my babies. I will let you know what i see. Good luck - if you find any good ones can you post them for me too? Thanks girl!

| I was thinking of getting one a while back but then I started thinking how safe it was. I was wondering what would happen if I fell over or got hit by a car or whatever. The dog wouldn't fare very well, would it? It looks so fun to ride with them, but I'm afraid to. |

| Wire basket works great and I hook leash to wire(wrapped to make shorter so can't jump out,(though he has never tried) and I bought a cheap little ferret bed and fitted in the basket, its padded and I add a baby receiving blanket in the bottom, it works great and I have been using it for the last 3 yrs with my dogs. The best part is that I can wash the bed and blanket with no problem. Its very inexpensive and the dogs love it.
