| Looking for a collar I've been looking for a rolled leather collar for Jo-Jo but his neck is so tiny and I can't find one in a store. He has a 6" neck and you ad 2" so he needs an 8" collar but the smallest I've found is a 10" collar. I'd like to find one in red or tan with the matching leash. Does anyone have one they never used or don't use anymore or do you know where I can look? We have Petco here and a few small pet supply stores but they don't carry anything that small unless I go to the cat or ferret section and they don't make rolled leather collars for those guys either. Right now he wears a flat nylon collar and it's really wreaking havok with his hair...the rolled leather collars are great for not damaging the hair. Are COACH collars rolled or flat leather? |

| Here is what I did when my baby was 7 weeks old. How about making your own? Go to Wal-mart to the arts-crafts-sewing section and look at the bindings. You can find something sort of thick, but not too thick or thin and buy a quarter yard or a yard of it. Then buy some metal snaps or sew on snaps and just make a collar. You can also get tiny D-rings to sew onto the collar to hold the bell. When the baby outgrows it, just make another...... That's what I did. Finding bells was my biggest problem. Hope this helps!

| JoJo, In addition to a harness, a collar is a good idea for the home. Have you thought of a small cat collar that has the chimes? You could take the chimes off, but they're usually smaller. Bella & Maria |

| Thanks for all the suggestions. I'd like a rolled leather collar because they don't damage the hair or leave a mark around the neck and they look nice. I haven't found one his size yet but I'll keep looking. Does anyone know if Petsmart carries them? We don't have one here but I'll be near one about the middle of June so I can check then. I can take the bell off of his current collar and put it on a leather one...he needs a bell so I know where he is. |
