| Buddy has boots I ordered Pixie Boots from "Beyond Spoiled" and they are so adorable. Can someone help with how to get him used to them. I swear it was worth the money just to see him try to walk in them! He acted like he had cement boots on. They are made so nice and they fit him perfectly. How do I get him use to wearing them? He won't move and wants to eat them Kathryn shipped so quick and the size charts are exact. Thanks "Beyond Spoiled". Carol & Buddy |

| LOL I know what you're talking about. Timmy does the same thing. Whenever I put his slippers on he kicks his paws out when he's walking. He absolutely hates them. Mimi on the other hand doesn't mind having shoes on. I would say keep them on him for a few minutes at the begining and then leave them on longer & longer each day until he gets used to it. |

| Mojo did the same w/ his boots......I foudn that he actually "walked" in them outside. Inside, he was "trying" to walk...I don't know if it was because of the slick wood floors or what. Just keep trying....put them on as much as possible to get him use to them.

| Sounds like Kodak, and I have a blue and black pair and he walks like Frankenstein in them. You must take a picture of him in the boots just in case they are put on a shelf to never be worn again like mines.

| Mine don't wear boots/shoes (yet), but someone told me once that you can star gettting them used to them by having them wear ONE, then TWO, then THREE, and finally all FOUR. You could give that a try. Good luck! I'd love to see pics! |

I then asked him, "You wanna go potty" (which means lets go out) and he jumped right up and miraculously started walking normal. Never had a problem since What a HOOT he is. He absolutely LOVED them in the snow........

| Yay! As you know, Bobbi owns those. At first, he was walking like a spider........he was like "mom, will ya get these off"!! It's because of Bobbi's that I ordered them. They sounded so well made and Buddy really needed something. They are wonderful and fit perfectly. I am going to try and put them on tonight when I get home and walk him. Like some said to walk outside might be different. Carol & Buddy |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | * Take him outside to practice. They don't like walking on wood or linoleum in boots. * Hold a favorite treat a few steps away and call him. If he walks to you, praise and treat. * Do that just long enough (5 minutes?) to make sure you're holding his interest and he doesn't lose interest in the treats. * Quit and try again the next day, making the walks a little longer. * Keep a close eye on the boots and make sure they're not swivelling around on his ankles and making the walk uncomfortable. Good luck, and post pics!

He sure will get used to them. To me, they are equivalent to ballerina shoes . I have 3 other pairs and he cannot walk on them. They are super cute, and they look like REAL shoes........but again, they are uncomfortable and useless

She's a total treat hog! lol She now does her act in the Pink Pixie boots! She was on TV not too long ago! It was pretty cool! Pixie did the Baffeled Boot Freeze the first time I put them on... se wal like... WTF? Get them off! then the treat came and she was like... what shoes??? Give me the treat!!!!!!!
