Christmas outfit for Boys? I have seen you all post little adorable dresses for Girl's to wear on Christmas... So I was wondering if any of you could make something for Stump and all the other boys. Last year he was Santa ..aka Stumper Clause ...and this year I was wondering if anyone could make like a little suit or something. I'm not really sure what I'd want, but something that looks dressed up in Red and Green. I love the color Red on Stump, it is the perfect contrast with his black body. I'd want pants to match for him so he doesn't get cold.. Any one have anything like this or any ideas that they could make?

I have waited to respond to this thread hoping that someone else would step up to the plate and fill this need. I have red and green Dupioni Silk. I could make a vest similar to a harness vest. It wouldn't be really fancy schmancy, but the silk does add a certain elegance that kind of makes up for a plain joe vest. I could also embroider a Holiday motif on the vest. If you are interested, please pm me and we can "talk turkey"

I love the Santa Outfit, It is way cute, But Stump had a Santa Outfit last year, he actually still has it! The silk seems like it would be cute though! Could you use like a red and a green and maybe sew it so the back looks sorta like a suit coat with a shirt under it? Haha I don't know if that makes any sense?!

Stump -- you are making perfect sense, but I don't have a pattern I will look while I am out and about tomorrow. romeos mom -- I love the red sweater. Boy that site has some good looking items -- very reasonably priced, too! I want one of each and two of some, but alas, my furkids say NO to clothes. I am afraid they would chain themselves to my sewing machine cabinet and go on a hunger strike if I try to make them wear all of the cute clothes I want to buy for them

Wow, I don't sew I didn't realize you'd have to have a pattern, but DUH! That makes sense. Haha, I'm so clueless when It comes to sewing, I can't even sew a button onto something. But thats cute, Stump actually loves clothes, he has his own closet (I know it's pathetic) and in the morning time he runs to the closet and whines until I get him a new outfit on lol. But if you find a pattern let me know. I am going to continue to look around. I just knew that the people on here are so talented that someone could make it if they had the right things, but a pattern would be one of those! Thanks for looking!! | |
