| Wanted: Stairs/Ramp for Yorkie to get on and off King/Queen Size Bed I'm looking for stairs or ramp that is safe that my baby can get on and off our bed during the night. Our bed is either Queen or King, so it's pretty high up and she refuses to jump thank god. I need the ramp/stairs as she needs to be able to get off bed at her own will to go potty in litterbox. Last night I didn't wake when she tried to wake me and she peed the bed poor thing. Anyway, please let me know if you have one or any recommendations on where I could get something good reasonable and safe! |

| Alternative I needed the samething, until I came up with something to use in the meantime. I took a rectangled laundry basket, turned it upside down and covered it with a bath mat. You know the ones with the rubber back? That's kind of mat/rug I used to cover my 'step' aka laundry basket..hahahah..it works like a charm. It's cheap and doesn't take up too much room All 12 of mine use it at night when they have to go, they jump down and go on the pee pad and then come back up without disturbing me. It's great! Good luck! |

| Another good option is just a footstool that is covered with material so they do not slip on it. I also bought a ramp off of ebay that has rug on the ramp and solid sides that are about 4" tall so that they do not walk off of the side in the dark. Both work very well. Good Luck |

| We use "alternatives" for Toto too! Those stairs, etc. are far too bulky to take when we travel so I just make do ... whatever works. The laundry basket/rug is a great idea. Right now I have a "banker's box" with the top covered so Toto doesn't slide. It works perfect. I have also used the Rubbermaid totes that we use to pack things in. Anything handy as long as the top is covered .... if Toto ever loses her footing, it takes a little while for her to regain her confidence. It's great ... we usually don't even wake up when she goes to her pad or to drink water at night!

| I saw these on TV last night and they tote them as being both home and travel friendly. They are reasonably priced and there is a 2 for 1 special going on right now. www.doggysteps.com

| Great idea! Great buy too!! I am just worried that 3 steps would not be enough for my baby to get on and off bed as our bed is queen/king. I can look on ebay, do you know what brand ramp that was that had the sides so the baby doesn't fall off? Quote:
