| Choke Free Harness Size 12" I have one light blue 'Choke Free' leather shoulder harness for $25 shipped. I purchased this for Turbo but this is too small for him. He has a 12" chest, but this fits very tight on him. His sister has a 11" chest & this is perfect for her. So, if your furbaby has a 10~11" chest, this will fit perfectly. IMG_1418.jpg IMG_1420.jpg PM me if interested, I take paypal & money orders. Thank You!

| Hey Jenny, I was looking to purchase the no choke...are you happy with the velcro? That's the only thing that's making me doubt the purchase...thank you! Also where did you purchase? I wish Daisy was a 12! she's 13 so I have to buy a 14 I believe.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Guys this is a nice deal if it fits your baby. I have many of these and you really have to measure their chest and add 1" and that's it. I should have known better but I'm hoping that Cosmo fits into these eventually as he is still growing. His chest is 12" but I ordered a 14" - it fits but a little loose so I ordered the 13" and perfect. Same with Izzy - she has a 9:" chest but I get the 10" for her and it's perfect. Once you get these you won't want the others. Though my clicker-trainer told us that those are bad for them too especially when teaching them to walk on the leash - they pull you She said there is a choke-free harness out there that has the d-ring in the front??? I have to find out the name and see if it works.

You're talking about the gentle leader harnesses (the ones with the D rings in the front.) Personally, I think the whole not teaching a dog to walk on a traditional harness is really a dog to dog basis thing. Some dogs have a natural tendency to pull and harnesses don't help that. Some dogs you can really teach to walk on a harness just fine (but its not something you want to stick with if you have a puller). Winston is almost two, and when I got him in June he never went out of the house he was born in a day in his life. No collar, no leash, no walks. He's never needed a specialty harness (nor have any of my other dogs when learning how to walk). I just never let any of them get in the habit of pulling. On topic though, have you had any serious offers yet mimimomo? I am really interested in purchasing this off you, but I need to take a look at my funds first. | |
