Bo - you might want to consider getting a patent for your product, product name, etc! This could really work into something big!

You should also do larger ones as well when you are able. I too have some larger girls and tiny girls but thinking expansion for pet owners with other breeds(larger) as well. You go girl!!

Wow, it's such a great deal! Much more inexpensive than the ones I've been eyeing but had been put off by the price tag. It's such a bonus that you have plenty more fabric patterns to choose from! I'll have to figure out what the "universal" size would be that would fit all my furries so that I'd only ever need to have one around.

I do have a friend who is helping me, he is an attorney and specializes in this type of thing and is guiding me along the way. Thanks! Maybe this will be the one! - Like I tell my hubby, ideas start somewhere.

Well, we'll be able to take care of Miss Minnie when she's recuperating. We'll make sure that she is as comfortable as can be.

Do you know what type of tumor that it is or do they have to perform the surgery in order to diagnosis?

Yes, I am working on some pretty colors and prints so it doesn't look so "medicinal and hospitally"

I just made one for a 2.5 lber so hopefully I got the size correct and will work for the tinies. I am also working on a larger one for a teapot size. I am kinda winging that one since I don't have a model but I think what I've done will work out great.

Will keep our fingers and paws crossed!

The Softee does have some wiggle room so yes, in essence they are universal. What is nice is that you can adjust them without compromising the effect.

Thanks for looking and taking in interest in The Softee Collar.

WOW! Fabulous idea!!! You should totally go to your local vet and see if you could sell a couple to them.... I hope I don't need one, but If I do or ever know of someone that does, I will def. pass your name along!!!

I used Maggie as my model as Hot Rod was already stressed out recuperating from his surgery. As you can see, the collar can be turned down partially or all the way around. When he went to sleep, the collar just moved him and he didn't have to "adjust" himself around it at all!

It is a little bit quilted which gives it some stability but I will also put some plastic stays in if you would like. The stays will just be added support and will be able to be removed.

The fabric choices I have shown will be sewn with a corresponding backing and binding. Hot Rod and Maggie are 4 lbs and I did not need the stays in his collar...he was not able to get his mouth over the length of the collar. If you would like to have other colors or prints, just pm me, I have a bunch of other choices. I thought that I would show the animal prints that I have available.

I have 2 sizes that I can make, one for a 4 lber ($18.00) and one for a 7 lber ($20.00. Normal domestic 1st class shipping: $2.50. Priority mail - $4.95, ins. add'l.

I wish I had this 3 weeks ago when we had Bogie neutered. He had some swelling problems and immediatly started licking,needless to say he came home with the ecollar. I hate those things, so uncomfortable and awkward. We took it off when we could just sit and watch him...you should get a patent on this it looks awesome....
