Silk Step-In's - lots of new color selections

Thank you so much for the post about ordering for a puppy! I'm just now seeing this. I turned off email notifications because there were too many and I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate around here.

That's great that you do the replacement chest piece so they can grow in to it! Now, one more question. How often do you update the silk color selections? Is it updated 3 times a year for example or just when you run across some good silk? Just curious. I saw they saw Spring collection so is there a Summer collection to come? I see a couple of colors I like but sure would like that iridescent purple! LOL!!!!

The Take2 Couper/Leash combo is a Take2 Coupler (see pic below) and a leash. Purchasing the combo gives you a $2.50 savings over the Coupler and Leash sold separately. The coupler is separate from the leash - you connect the leash to the "O" ring on the coupler.

Many of the silks that I offer are re-orderable. Occasionally these re-orderables often have subtle differences in color saturation. This is particularly true in the more vibrant colors such as hot pink and purple.

Some of the silk selections are limited and once they are sold out, they are gone forever. If you have a particular color in mind, please pm me and I can let you know if it is a "re-orderable" or a limited quantity.

As of today - my lead time is a couple of days over 3 weeks. Thanks to a overwhelming response to a VDay Sale, I was swamped with orders and got a bit behind. By the middle of this coming week, I expect to be back to a 2 week lead time and am working hard to reduce that significantly.

Ok, so what I'm thinking, then, is that I'll order Bella a harness and leash, and wait until I get the puppy to order another harness and the coupler (and probably another leash too).....that way if the colors are off, I can just get a complementing color instead.

Do you have any photos of the iridescent pink silk....other than the one on the gallery page (like maybe an iridescent pink harness or leash, or even a picture with the fabric against a pup or against something else where I could tell the shade a little better)??

Sorry, I got distracted, hubby had a hungry growly tummy that needed to be filled with a sumptious dinner.

Ok, to answer your question...

I love silk what can I say! I am in love with Dupioni. Rarely a day goes by that I am not prowling fabric stores for unique dupionis that will work up nicely in the products that I make. I don't have a regular schedule for updating the Foxypups Gallery. It was for clarification in ordering that I gave a name to the silks that I am currently offering. Generally, I do a large overhaul about twice a year, but since I am acquiring so many beautiful pieces of silk, I will continue adding and removing silks as they are acquired and are sold out.

Be sure to check back often so that you don't miss out on something special.

I am on a mission to find a exquisite piece of Iridescent Purple in sufficient quantity to allow me to offer it. Once I do I will post the pic in the Gallery.

Unfortunately I don't have anything made up in the Iridescent Pink to show you. Dupioni is notiorously difficult to photograph. I have taken two pics (shown below) one taken with the grain and one taken across the grain. Isn't the difference wild?

This particular Iridescent Pink is limited. It is made up of a cross weave between white threads on top and deep rusty red threads on the bottom. Generally Iridescent Pinks are available - once this piece is in short supply, I will replenish it with yet another beautiful Iridescent Pink Dupioni. You will be able to tell that it is a different shade by it's name on the Foxypups Gallery.

I just wanted to add that I went to 5 petstores locally and could not find ONE my daughter liked ( flowers , sparkley and blingy) she is 13 so I let her poke around on this site and she noticed Cindy's harness and leash and was like MOM MOM I found a perfect one for my new puppy, she was just so so excited, I cant say enough about how pleasant and easy it was to order from Cindy, Im getting our new baby March 5th and cant wait to see our new harness and leash!
