| Need recommendation's for carpet cleaner I need some suggestions on carpet pee remover. My daughter's friend brought her pug over last week and he peed on the carpet in several places. I caught my dogs squatting to pee in the same areas. I cleaned it up but it still smells like urine. Any suggestions? I am worried mine will start peeing everywhere now....

| I use Nature's Miracle and get it at Petsmart. Although the directions say to spray the carpet and let it set for 5 minutes before cleaning, I put the sprayer on "stream" and saturate the carpet and let it soak. Sometimes if it is a small spot I don't bother blotting it up. I also use it daily to clean my pups crate pan.

| I use Urine-Gone. It is amazing. You just spray it on and leave it. No scrubbing. It saves me some time! The only downside is that is costs about $30. But it even comes with a blacklight so that you can see every single pee spot.

| Thanks, I am not very happy with Jack the pug right now. We have off white carpet, and there are some big marked areas. My daughter will be helping scrub the carpet.

| I use Nature's Miracle, because it's not harmful to the dog.

| Thanks, I have tried a couple of these products in the past. I have to be careful about using strong solvents because it can trigger my daughters asthma ...

| I just picked up a few trial sized bottles of "Fresh 'n Clean oxy-strength" I think it is made by the oxy-clean people, and it has arm and hammer baking soda too, so it neutralizes odor. The trial bottles are only 29 cents, and it only takes a little to do the trick. Someone else on here mentioned using borax before... I bought some, but haven't tried it out yet. -O
