| Our new Vera Bradley carrier arrived today The Pros: ~its pretty ~its the perfect size - roomy enough for her to not feel squished up, not too bulky for me to carry ~the pad inside is very soft and completely washable ~the inside is lined with clear vinyl/plastic stuff that seems supere easy to wash off and clean ~roomy pocket for both of our things so I don't have to carry around 2+ bags AND the carrier ~mesh panels on each end and it isn't too dark inside The Cons: ~there is a funny smell which I think is caused by the vinyl/plastic lining. I have it open and airing out now. I think it will go away with a proper airing. ~even though I ordered the "peacock" color I still think it might be a little too girly for hubby want to carry. We'll see when he gets home. ~they don't make the pet carriers with the "pink elephant" fabric that I REALLy want! ~it does look a little "luggage-y" (it is TOO a word!) but not TOO much

| I like luggage-y. Sounds like a great word for Scrabble...one of those words that I would have to convince my brother really is a word! |

| Yep, both they and I contacted the company. They don't make the pet carrier in the pink elephant. However, I WILL be adding a few pink elepants items to my collections! I love the print and the cause!

| Now is a great time to get one! Some of them (the retiring fabrics) are on sale. I got the carrier w/tax AND S&H all for less than the price of just the normally priced carrier! Here's a link to the ones that are on sale http://www.verabradley.com/Site/Stor...x?sku=812PAS07

| I *almost* got it in Capri Melon, but it just seems like all of VB's pinks are just a little TOO pink. lol So I tried to get the girliest non-pink I could.

| Which one did you get? I don't really like the Capri melon, or blue. I like the other pink "petal pink" I think is what its called. |
